My dad made me a self-inking stamp of my name when I was young. It was bright pink. I took it to school and stamped all my papers and loved it (and the other kids thought it was cool & I was cool ;) This is a great way to make sure kids don't forget to write their names on their papers at school. It also makes a unique personalized gift. Our dotted-line font is especially useful for children to learn to write their names by tracing.
